Paro - Thimphu (2N) - Punakha (1N) - Limukha (1N) - Chungsakha (1N) - Samtengang (1N) - Gangtey (1N) - Paro (2N)

The Samtengang Trek is one of the easiest winter treks in Bhutan with altitude ranging between 1100m to 1900m. It is perfect for beginners and can be completed within 4 days. From Punakha to Wangduephodrang Dzongkhag, the trek will take you through forests of rhododendron and oak, local villages, paddy fields, monasteries, lakes and more. In addition, the tour also brings you to visit famous Dzongs and monasteries in western Bhutan, like Paro Rinpung Dzong, Punakha Dzong and Chhimi Lhakhang, National Memorial Chorten in Thimphu etc. Before the tour ends, you will expect to enjoy an exciting visit to Taksang Lhakhang, the holiest temple of the country.
