Gangkar Puensum Trek is one of the less frequent treks in Bhutan and is a wild experience to witness the world’s highest unclimbed peak - Gangkar Puensum. This trip will first take you to explore the west and center parts of Bhutan, where brilliant temples and Dzongs abound, before you start to challenge this adventurous trek journey. Visit famous Paro Rinpung Dzong, National Memorial Chorten, Punakha Dzong and more, hike to Taksang Lhakhang, and stroll around beautiful Bumthang valley, to know about the unique Bhutan culture and religion while get yourself well prepared for the upcoming trekking. During the trek, you will travel through some of the most extraordinary landscapes like alpine pasture land, luminous lakes, river valleys, glaciers, spectacular views of the mountains, as you trace to the base camp of Gangkar Puensum.
