This Nguedup Langwa is unique for Gangtey Festival, which means receiving of spiritual wisdom and power. People from nearby regions and villages will gather around to celebrate the festival day. Local Bhutanese believe that attending this festival fetches them blessings by pleasing the deities. Like other festivals in Bhutan, there are traditional mask dances and folk dances performed by the locals during the event in traditional costumes.
